Kick off SCHS’s 17th annual Bark in the Park at our One Mile Wag Walk! With your furry friend by your side, enjoy a leisurely 1 mile walk beginning and ending at Fuqua Park. All registrants will receive a Bark in the Park t-shirt. Help us save more animals by collecting pledges from your family and friends! As a bonus, we’ll be giving away prizes for the 1st youth, 1st adult and team participants who raise the most money in pledges.
Day-of walk registration will begin at 9 a.m. in Fuqua Park; pre-registrants can collect their t-shirt at packet pick-up during this time. All pledges must be turned in by 9:30 a.m.

How do I participate in the pledge competition?

Download a pledge sheet from our website or sign up to use our online fundraising software when you register for the walk. It's easy and FREE!

Give yourself plenty of time to collect pledges BEFORE the walk! Rally your friends and family, teachers, coworkers, and neighbors to donate for the animals.

Invite your friends to form a team - and walk as a pack!

Bring the donations you’ve collected and pledge sheets to the Wag Walk table beginning at 9 a.m. on October 1st.. We’ll have a list of your online donations. The walk begins at 9:30 a.m.
Wag Walk Rules:

All dogs must be human and dog-friendly and be up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations.

Dogs in heat may not participate.

Pet water stations will be available at the halfway point and start/finish point of the walk.

Dogs must be securely leashed and under control at all times. NO retractable, flexi, or greater than 6ft leashes allowed at event.

Be prepared to clean up after your dog. Bags will be provided to all participants.

The Stephens County Humane Society reserves the right to ask for removal of any dog showing signs of aggression.
